Oral Appliance Therapy
A Convenient Alternative to CPAP
These devices are custom fitted by dentists with special expertise and training in treating sleep apnea. They fit in the mouth, similar to a retainer or mouth guard. They open your airway by moving your lower jaw and tongue forward while you sleep. They are small, comfortable and effective.

Meet the Doctor
Ofer M. Doron DMD, FAGD, D. ABDSM
Doctor Doron’s passion for providing a solution to his patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea began about four years ago. “I have experienced the consequences of sleep apnea personally” he said, “utilizing my knowledge and expertise to provide patients with a potentially life saving solution was a no brainer”.
He graduated from UConn School of Dental Medicine in 1998, and furthered his education by completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, also at the UConn School of Dental Medicine. Following the completion of his residency, he practiced in Torrington, CT, before being asked to return to UConn as the Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program.
